Beta Readers

Trust me, this gets interesting in the end...

I adore my life as a beta reader.

The idea that I am picked as one of a select few to read an authors words before the public eye gets to them is a euphoric feeling. Someone chose me to help them make their book be the best it can. I get new jobs every few weeks and it never ceases to amaze me.

That's why choosing my own was important. I needed the reader feedback, of course. But I needed people I could trust with my words, to give me honest feedback and I must say I found the trifecta of betas.

To keep their anonymity (as if their names were a secret on my facebook page!) I'll just call them by their first inital - L, S, and LC.

I cannot gush about these girls enough.

I LOVE MY GIRLS!!!!!!!!

Anyway, to the fun part ...

Anyone ever beta read before? Want a chance to try something out? Let me know!

Goodbye Wix, Hello Blogger and fellow Blogger people!

So I was on Wix but a friend made me realize just how much easier blogger was. And the funny thing? I've been on here since 2008 apparently. Who knew? Certainly not me.

So, now that I'm on here, let me introduce myself:

I'm a 30-something person from southern Texas. I love my friends and family and my animals. If I could have it, my dream job would be writing day in and day out while running an actual farm where neglected animals could come to stay.

My favorite color is green, like my eyes. That is unless you're five feet away and then my eyes are a deep blue. Almost like sapphires.

I'm currently having my first book edited, my second one is done, and my third and fourth are being written. I started on my birthday last year (June 1st) after some wise words from hubby. I love writing m/m but my first book is m/f with a small bit of m/m. Book two of the series is actually m/m/f.

I LOVE my boys that I write about. From what my betas tell me, they love them too!

I adore hearing from people. Maybe one day I'll have a following. Maybe I won't. Either way, this journey has been a complete mind trip and I hope that it doesn't end soon.
